Ault Miniature Chest

Adam Ault, a prominent clock-case maker from York County, Pennsylvania, made the original of this wonderful chest using clock components, such as feet, base molding, scroll moldings, rosettes and finials. Possibly made for a wealthy patron or even for one of his own children, it is a unique object dating between 1790 and 1810.
