William and Mary Easy Chairs
This Spanish foot, turned base, maple easy chair was one of the most refined objects of seating furniture one could have in the first quarter of the 18th century in Boston. With its high back and excellent proportions it would have been an expensive object at that time, with the fabric being by far the most expensive part.
