Wistar Arm Chair
This outstanding arm chair is one of a pair originally belonging to Katherine Johnson Wistar of Cedar Grove, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The original was made between 1760-1780. The sculptural arm supports have an unusual and possibly unique feature of carved scrolled volutes.
