Originally owned by James Logan of Philadelphia and in his home, Stenton, this beautifully scalloped settee dates between 1735 and 1750. Logan served as William Penn’s secretary and was one of the most educated men in Philadelphia during the middle of the 18th century. This highly accurate copy has a slip seat.
